My 3-year-old spent almost an hour balancing the little fox and owl on top of each other, which never happens with her other toys. The painted details are still sharp after a few weeks of daily play, though I do wish the set came with a small storage bag.
The woodland animal shapes are chunky enough for little hands to grip without frustration, and my daughter spends ages trying to balance the fox on top of the trees. I like that it's just wood and paint, no plastic anywhere.
My 3-year-old has played with these every day for two weeks and the paint hasn't chipped once. She mostly ignores the stacking and just lines the foxes and trees up in rows, but the balancing part keeps my older kid busy for ages.
