The broom is actually long enough that my four-year-old can sweep without hunching over, which I didn't expect from a toy. The dustpan clips onto it too, so nothing gets lost in the toy bin. She's been "helping" me every afternoon since it arrived.

My 3-year-old actually sweeps the kitchen floor with this instead of just dragging the broom around like her old plastic one. The full-length handle is the perfect height for her and the dustpan actually holds what she sweeps up. Wood feels solid, not like the flimsy set we had before.
