The shape holes are cut just right so the animals slide in with a satisfying thunk, not too loose. My daughter started naming the pairs after a week, and now bath time is all about who boards the ark first.

My two-year-old spends ages matching each animal to its shape hole, and the chunky wooden pieces are perfect for little hands to grip. The colors are still bright after months of daily play, too.

The shape holes are a genius touch — my two-year-old spends ages matching each animal to its spot instead of just stacking them, and the paint hasn't chipped once despite daily use. The ark itself is sturdy enough that it's survived being sat on twice already.
